Putting out content will get people to talk about you. This is the key is having millions of views online. Facebook or YouTube is great, but you need to find a way to monetize it.

You need to make money, because you need to pay your bills.

The best way to do it is to build the audience and get them on your e-mail list. For example, you’re doing YouTube videos. You need to get that segment of your viewers to sign up to your e-mail list.

I have been doing it for 10 years. I have been building our marketing list because I come from a very marketing heavy, direct response and ROI based background.

I understand that thinking about social media is very different than thinking of driving revenue. I come from that world of driving revenue, but the world is evolving so fast. If you don’t play the social media game and go really hard, the revenue will decrease and you will lose market shares.

If you have users on YouTube and you have 10,000, 100,000 or even 200 subscribers on your channel, get those subscribers on your e-mail list. When they’re on your e-mail list, you can market to them and you can send them new stuff.

The problem with having followers on only one platform is that, if you posted something on another platform, most of them won’t see it. They won’t see it because they’re not on the platform that you’re posting on.

I would recommend that you need to take that audience and move your audience from one platform to the other.

When you can move the audience from YouTube to an e-mail list, you can e-mail that list and send them to Facebook. From Facebook, you can send them to Twitter and that’s when you have the whole network working for you.

You need to build the audience and you need to capture the information and get people to subscribe to an e-mail list.

I highly recommend that you build an audience and then move it to a different platform like e-mail marketing.

It’s not a social media platform, but that’s how you can actually capture people’s e-mail information to send them stuff or to send them promotional offers and eventually, have a good relationship with them.
